"Growinng" 

 

The leaves fall,

onto the wet ground,

a bud reborns,

 

 

The concept of “Growth” expressed in this artwork refers to Uroboros, an ancient symbol represented by a snake in circular position eating it own tail which reflects the endless cycle of the nature of creation and destruction, live and death as indivisible parts of the same “Whole”.

The artwork is separated in three sequential pictures in black on paper that capture the idea of the beginning of creation and destruction in Nature. Attached to the paints is a Haiku that express the same concept of endless growth and dead.

"Crecimiento"  2016-2017

Caen las hojas,

en la tierra mojada,

un brote nace,

 

 

La idea de Crecimiento que expreso en esta obra hace referencia al Uróboros, símbolo representado por una serpiente que come su propia cola creando así una forma circular que representa el ciclo infinito de la naturaleza de creación y destrucción eterno, de vida y de muerte.

La obra está configurada en una secuencia de tres pinturas en color negro sobre papel que expresan la idea del inicio de la creación y destrucción en la Naturaleza. Acompaño la obra con un Haiku que expresa el mismo concepto infinito de muerte  y crecimiento.
